South Park Sanctuary SD is a short-term rental property in South Park, San Diego, California, operated by CDI Property Investments LLC. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you book directly with us, we collect the information needed to make and honor the reservation: your name, email address, phone number, billing address, number of guests, and your stay dates. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processor and are never stored on our systems or visible to us.

When you submit an enquiry form, such as the private events form, we collect your name, email address, and whatever details you choose to include in your message.

When you book through Airbnb or Vrbo, those platforms collect your information under their own privacy policies and share a limited set of it with us so we can host your stay.

When you visit the website, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. If we use website analytics, it records aggregate visit data. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors.

At the property, exterior security cameras monitor the outside entrances and driveway for security purposes. There are no cameras inside the home, and none in any private outdoor space. Recordings are retained only as long as needed for security and are not shared except as described below.

WHY WE USE IT

We use your information to confirm, manage and honor your reservation; take payment and hold or release the refundable security deposit; communicate with you before, during and after your stay; provide check-in instructions and access codes; respond to enquiries about the property or private events; comply with our obligations as a licensed short-term rental operator in the City of San Diego (STRO License STR-09473L), including transient occupancy tax and guest reporting requirements; and protect the property and resolve disputes or damage claims.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We share only what is necessary, and only with: our booking and property management system, which stores reservation and guest records on our behalf; our payment processor, which handles card transactions and deposit authorizations; booking platforms such as Airbnb and Vrbo where your reservation originated there; service providers such as cleaners or maintenance contractors, who receive only your stay dates and any access details required to do their work; and government authorities, where required by San Diego short-term rental regulations or by law.

We do not share your information with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

We keep reservation records for as long as needed to run the business and to meet tax, accounting and regulatory requirements, generally seven years. Enquiry messages that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to two years. Security camera footage is retained for a short period and then overwritten unless needed for an active security or damage matter.

COOKIES

Our website uses cookies that are necessary for the site to function. If we add analytics, those cookies help us understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features may not behave as expected.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and where it came from; request a copy of that information; correct information that is inaccurate; request deletion of your information, subject to our need to keep records for tax, legal and regulatory purposes; and not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on those grounds.

To make a request, email info@southparksanctuarysd.com with the details of what you are asking for. We may need to verify your identity, usually by confirming details of a booking, before we can act. We aim to respond within 45 days. If your reservation was made through Airbnb or Vrbo, requests about the information those platforms hold should go to them directly.

CHILDREN

The property is booked by adults; our primary renter must be at least 25 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

SECURITY

We use reputable third-party systems for bookings and payments, and we limit access to guest information to those who need it to host your stay. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be noted here.
